Writing has always been my passion. It's an opportunity to express my thoughts, feelings, and opinions; and to educate and provide facts on subjects of which I have the knowledge and experiece that may assist others in their search for answers.
I had been an Insurance Claims Adjuster for 23 years before deciding to retire. I have held positions as a Claims Adjuster in the Automobile, Homeowners, Mobile Homeowners, Boatowners, Renters, and Casualty and Liability departments. In addition, I further broadened my insurance knowledge by accepting positions as a Property Underwriter, a Call-Center Supervisor, an Office Manager for an insurance agency, and a Claims Service Assistant. Furthermore, I’ve accepted assignments assisting in areas throughout the United States where catastrophic natural disasters have occurred and have spent many years in this capacity.
Aside from writing, my personal interests include gardening, traveling, sightseeing, bargain shopping, baking and cooking, and attending arts and crafts fairs, home and garden shows, basically any venue where I can obtain decorating ideas. I have been married for 19 years and am the parent of 5 children, and grandparent to 4.
